A diet based on protein and complex carbohydrates.
?Supplements: at minimum, a capsule each day of multivitamins, antioxidants, and fish oils.
?Proficiency in a chronic stress-reduction technique such as meditation, prayer, or contemplation, plus an acute Energy Psychology intervention for use in crises.
The first three items provide a foundation of physical and mental health on which a structure of spiritual wellbeing can be built. It's hard to meditate, do yoga, contemplate, or pray with serenity when your body is sick, so addressing basic physical wellbeing is an early-stage requirement. |

Under the new CAM Guidelines issued by the FDA (see Health freedom action alert: FDA attempting to regulate supplements, herbs and juices as "drugs"), any items used in altering or enhancing the "function" of a living person are subject to regulation and control by the FDA. Items used in religious practices are NOT excluded from these guidelines.
Holy water, for example, could be regulated as a drug. Churches that continue to use Holy water in their services could be raided and accused of practicing medicine. Sound absurd? |

Raid on Nature's Way
In 1992 in Utah; the FDA seized bulk primrose oil from Nature's Way, a manufacturer that offers some of the highest-quality supplements in the business. Nature's Way filed a lawsuit to get their product returned, but was forced to remove the natural Vitamin E from the formulation, as the FDA insisted that Vitamin E had not been approved as an additive for primrose oil.
1992 - The Tahoma Clinic FDA Raid
On May 6, 1992, FDA agents joined armed King County police officers in an armed raid against the clinic of Dr. Jonathan Wright, an M.D. and natural health practitioner. |
And this report, by the way, doesn't even cover the FDA's terror-style tactics against a company called Lane Labs, which developed and marketed anti-cancer supplements that really worked.
As you can see from this report, it is quite clear that the FDA has the intention of destroying natural medicine using any means necessary, including terrorism tactics.
And who supports the FDA? Pharmaceutical companies, medical associations, doctors, medical journals, hospitals and numerous corrupt Congresspeople and Senators. |

I adjusted his nerve medications, put him on a couple of new things, a couple of supplements, and then we just sat and talked for about twenty minutes. This was a man who had gone through a huge life crisis, and was actually still in crisis, still very wobbly. His struggle was something palpable in the room, like the shadow of death, still there. He talked about his family, his job, what had been important to him, his past sense of meaning and religious practice, and the future. Then he started to cry.
"We talked for a while, then I looked down at my prescription pad and I began to write. |

Vitamin A promotes proper repair and maintenance of the skin, and deficiencies can result in a dry, flaky complexion. Topical vitamin A treatments are often used to treat acne and other skin ailments. Foods high in vitamin A include liver, chili peppers, dandelion, carrots, apricots, collard greens, kale, sweet potatoes, spinach, and cantaloupe. |

The FDA "presence" at the show, of course, is intended to make sure nobody can tell the truth about what natural supplements actually do to prevent and even cure degenerative disease. The point of all this is to keep the public ignorant and make sure there's a huge market for pharmaceuticals and surgery.
Of course, the show organizers will say the purpose of the FDA Enforcement Officer is to make sure nobody gets carried away with outlandish health claims. Because outlandish health claims should be reserved for television ads featuring FDA-approved prescription drugs, you see. |

First I had to find out how many supplements we could get into one pill and have them all be compatible.
We were able to actually get seven different supplements into one pill. It gives a very broad spectrum of action. It contains turmeric, the anticancer spice I spoke about. Turmeric is something that has these tremendous properties in it that help to combat environmental estrogens on many different levels.
When I go through the list of all the different things that stimulate the growth of breast cancer, the one thing you can't do anything about are these environmental estrogens. |

As you have probably noticed, we do not sell or profit from any foods, supplements, herbs, superfoods or other products that are regulated by the FDA. Thus, the FDA has no regulatory power over NewsTarget. That's the only reason you get the full story here at NewsTarget.
If the FDA had no power to regulate food and supplement companies, then LOTS of people would be saying the things we're saying about the FDA. |

In went my dietary program and a host of supplements.
In three months, Mark was down 25 pounds, his insulin levels had fallen, and his blood sugar—once 111—was now 95. His HDL had skyrocketed and his blood pressure had returned to normal. Two years later, and another 10 pounds slimmer, Mark demolishes his tennis opponents, which has made me unpopular with them.
As for Pansy, we ditched most of the standard heart-failure medications she had been prescribed and started her on two different ones, plus high-dose acetyl-L-carnitine and CoQIO. She has became a "green" eating machine. |

That's one of the reasons resveratrol is touted (by me among others) as one of the best antiaging supplements you can take. But you don't have to take a supplement to get your daily dosage of this antiaging compound. Just make grapes a part of your diet! The skins of the dark (red, purple) grapes are the best source.
The benefits of grapes don't stop with resveratrol. Grape seeds and skins are also a huge source of a class of flavonoids called oligomeric proantho-cyanidins, or OPCs. Proanthocyanidins are powerful antioxidants—several times more potent than vitamins C and E. |

For years I had taken various vitamin supplements, but I paid little attention to what I was eating. By the mid-1990s, I was in denial of having a cluster of prediabetic symptoms (insulin resistance, belly fat, increasing blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol and triglycerides). My intraocular eye pressure, a risk factor for glaucoma, was also elevated at 21 and 22 mgHg.
In 1997,1 went to the Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning International, where Hugh Riordan, M.D., oversaw the most comprehensive medical and nutritional workup I had ever experienced. |

Supplement-Drug Interactions
If you're taking any drug, including metformin or insulin, to control your blood sugar, you should be aware that either dietary improvements or nutritional supplements will likely lower your medication requirements. That's actually good because every physician knows patients are better off when they take less medicine. |
The program we describe in Stop Prediabetes Now focuses on eating habits, nutritional supplements, and light physical activity. We clearly explain exactly what to do to straighten out your eating habits. Taking this approach is two to three times more effective than any medical treatment in preventing the progression of prediabetes and diabetes. The research and the experience of other doctors clearly back us up.
We're not going to ask you to "go on a diet." That's because most people soon go off their diets and return to the habits that made them sick in the first place. |
We believe that nutritional supplements are essential for health, especially for people who have prediabetes or weight problems. There are several reasons behind our thinking, which you may want to share with your own physician.
• People who are prediabetic or overweight have a history of eating nutrient-poor foods. (Otherwise, they would not have developed these diseases.) They consequently suffer from various nutritional deficiencies, which may range from marginal to very serious. |

Stress, Prediabetes, and Overweight
Do you often feel stressed? If you do, you are more likely to become prediabetic. In one study, conducted at University College, London, researchers found that people who regularly experienced work-related stress over a period of fourteen years were twice as likely to become prediabetic. |

On realizing the powerful effect of thirty days of live food with specific diabetic supplements and herbs on participants' physical and mental states, and on their diabetes in particular, it became clear that we had a program that could be applicable and successful for everyone, as this group was representative of the Western populace. The Tree of Life 21-Day+ Program is more powerful than the thirty-day raw approach seen in the film. It includes a minimum seven-day green juice fast in the first week, which greatly accelerates the reversing of the diabetic degenerative physiological process. |

MANAGING HYPERTENSION: SUPPLEMENT YOUR DIET
Hawthorne berries, olive leaf extract, magnesium, and manganese all help dilate (relax) blood vessels. Indeed, many studies suggest that hypertension is a good marker for low stores of magnesium in the body.9 Most hospital patients admitted for heart disease have low magnesium levels. Magnesium is given to all open-heart surgery patients to prevent irregular heartbeats and potentially fatal arrhythmias as well as to keep their blood pressure down. |
Can other supplements help? If you scan diet-supplement commercials, you'd certainly think so, yet very few studies conclusively prove the appetite-suppressive effects of plant compounds. There are a few exceptions, which I've tried on several occasions and measured their effect. Listed in no particular order, all seem to work for me.

But beyond the media hype and public outcry, an important fact is overlooked: you can also stimulate muscle growth and power with supplements, including the two that follow.
Coenzyme Q-10 C0Q10, for short, is critical for muscle strength and stamina. One of the most ominous trends in modern medicine is the widespread prescribing of statins to lower cholesterol. Statins work by limiting the action of an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in the liver, which is also responsible for the manufacture of C0Q10. |

Over time, as stimulants are replaced with wholesome food, clean water, fresh air, exercise, positive attitudes, and health-restoring supplements, the body will cleanse itself and begin to produce increasing energy. We will experience new feelings of vitality that are genuine and lasting.
FOOD ADDICTIONS
We all become addicted to certain foods for various payoffs, be they physical (more energy), psychological/emotional (feel better, calmer, happier), or chemical (satisfy a craving). A diseased or unhealthy part of the body is in control. |

With no undesirable side effects and minimal cost, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose by trying probiotic supplements.
For Larry and Louise, we found that a simple diet change brought about the desired results, so no added probiotic supplements were necessary. I've seen this happen over and over in my practice. That is why I am convinced that a healthful plant-based diet is the fuel our bodies were made to thrive on . . . friendly bacteria and all.
