Inside your body, you have chemistry that breaks down the amino acids found in foods. You have chemistry that moves water and sodium through the cells of your body. You have enzymes and various enzymatic reactions taking place throughout your body during every living moment. There is a lot of chemistry going on.
Today, most chronic diseases are described in terms of chemistry, even though that's not necessarily the level at which they originate. Cardiovascular disease can be described as a chemical disorder, as something wrong with the lipids in your blood, for example. |

This process of disassembling and reassembling the amino acids of proteins is like someone giving us a multicolored string of beads to replace an old string of beads that we lost. However, the colored beads on the string given to us are not in the same order as the string we lost. So, we break the string and collect its beads. Then, we reconstruct our new string so that the colored beads are in the same order as our lost string. But if we are short of blue beads, for example, making our new string is going to be slowed down or stopped until we get more blue beads. |

Animal protein has a lot more of two amino acids - one is methianine, and the other is cysteine, and those two amino acids have as their central atom sulfur. Now, imagine the smell of rotten eggs infusing into every cell of your body. The sulfur rotten egg smell is what we smell. It's what vegans or vegetarians smell on meat-eaters. And the more chicken you eat, the more you're going to stink. And the more you're going to stink and your own body fluids are going to stink. That TV show Sex and the City had a very special episode regarding that, but we may not go into that in this interview. |

I've also created a free report called "Beat the Bird Flu virus" that lists the top antiviral vitamins, minerals, nutritional supplements, medicinal herbs, amino acids and products. The report is available as a free download on www.truthpublishing.com.
So if there is an outbreak of the bird flu virus, the solution is readily available if people would just get the right information. That information should include knowledge about the antiviral properties of these medicinal herbs and supplements. But of course, the public won't ever be told that. |

Mike: What's the sweetener in it?
Kunin: We have one gram of fructose, so it has no effect on the glycemic index.
Mike: Well, very low.
Kunin: Yes, it's very safe for diabetics. There's a gram of glycine in the product, which is a tremendous help for people who have sugar concerns; it helps manage your blood sugar. |

Mike: Outstanding. Are you sure McDonald's isn't battering and deep frying the apples or something like that?
Shamai: No, but they do offer a caramel dip with it, I'm told. I haven't checked this out personally.
Mike: Thank you, Ruth. It's been a real pleasure chatting with you.
Shamai: It's been a pleasure to chat with you as well, and I really appreciate you taking the time.
Mike: You're quite welcome, and I wish you the best of success with your product line.
Shamai: Thank you. |

However, if all of the necessary amino acids are not present, the protein will not be produced, even if the DNA and RNA had the correct instructions. The inability of DNA to fully execute its instructions can impair any number of subsequent chemical reactions.
In some cases a DNA mutation codes for the incorrect amino acid, leading to disease. For example, sickle-cell anemia, an inherited disease characterized by crescent-shaped red blood cells instead of the normal round ones, results from a genetic mutation that uses an incorrect amino acid. |

You have to build up your nutrient minerals with amino acids, specific amino acid supplements. You have to have the proper vitamins and minerals to make your brain work right. You have to have the proper lipids, again, to make your brain work right, for brain function. You have to balance your pH because your brain won't function if you're too alkaline or too acid. Then, you live the lifestyle. We put all those together, and that's live foods and fasting; fasting clears the brain. There was research done in Russia with schizophrenics, incurable schizophrenics, and they water fasted them. |

By the way, when you cook things above 108 degrees for prolonged periods, you break down the enzymes and, in fact, the amino acids – the language by which the body can translate this food, this information, this edible media – and that puts our bodies in a capacity where we are forced to utilize our own enzymatic stores in order to make enzymes to digest that food. It's a potent reference to what happens inside because it really affects our whole reality and how we perceive the earth. You are what you eat, and you certainly are also where your food comes from. |

It's perfect for adults; it's even rich in lysine, one of the amino acids that is not in corn, and not in many things, and it's a very good source of fiber. It has 39 percent of its weight as fiber. And five to six percent is soluble fiber. The Indians were very smart, because they used corn and chia. Corn was low in lysine, and chia was high in lysine. A comparison that the World Health Organization made, for example, showed that the Aztec diet was more complete than the actual Mexican diet.

Propionated minerals are those that are attached to amino acids, so that it is easier to digest and assimilate them. It is very expensive, and you have to make a food that is going to sell on the market. You can't make a food that is too much more expensive.
I wanted to make an organic bag of dog food back in 1997, a four or five pound bag that would cost $25. Nobody would buy it. It could be the best food on the market, but no one would buy it. |

It has all the essential amino acids necessary for health and development, and it's in the right proportion for human growth and development, which is very important. It has the same nutritional profile that milk does, so it's more of a complete protein like milk or meat that you get from an animal source, but it's a vegetable source. It's the only vegetable source recognized by the UN Food Association as a complete protein.
Mike: That's a very good point.
Leventry: It really is. |
They don't have all the essential amino acids. Even though quinoa's protein content is not extremely high, it is one of the highest from the grain and fruit categories. Now, this has been an interesting problem: Some people claim quinoa is more like a fruit or a bush fruit rather than a grain, but popularly it's known as a grain. What's your take on it?
Leventry: Well, it's called a seed grain, and amaranth is another grain that's a seed grain, so we classify it as a grain because it's used as a grain. You can use it like rice in the same way, and you would consider rice a grain. |

Excitatory amino acids cause problems, mainly when they are used either in high concentrations or in free form. In most natural foods, they are slowly released and therefore harmless. Most processed foods contain excitotoxins, notably any kind of commercial taste or flavor enhancers, such as caseinate, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, soy protein extract, yeast extract, or beef stock. These may be labeled as natural flavoring and are especially prevalent in soups, sauces, and gravies. |

In the cloning facility, cloned humans are put to work, given simplistic jobs feeding amino acids into the food tubes that ultimately help generate new cloned human beings. They are told that they are manufacturing food for the cafeteria, but in reality, these slaves unknowingly perpetuate the system of enslavement by helping make more clones.
This mirrors what goes on in the prison system in the United States today. |

Kunin: Well, I think the big thing that really stands out in our product is that we're providing the strategic amino acids like trimethoglycine. That word methyl keeps coming back. TMG is what you get when you eat beets. It's also known as betaine, and it has a significant role in, again, offering methyl donation so that your methyl chemistry can work better and the methyl pathways of your body work better. So your brain works better, your heart works better, your spleen ... the whole body works better when it's methylating properly.

It covers all eight essential amino acids plus many others that are nonessential. The Incas used Quinoa for centuries as one of their main food sources. It was typically grown at high altitude in South America, and it was planted and harvested with religious ceremonies that honored the sacred gifts from nature provided in the Quinoa plant. Quinoa is remarkable in its high amount of fiber and protein. In fact, it has more protein than any other natural product in the grain world. It also has a considerable amount of fiber, and again that makes for healthy digestive function. |

Glutathione is also important in the manufacture and repair of DNA, synthesis of prostaglandins, production of protein, and transport of amino acids.
When You Run Short of Glutathione
A deficiency can trigger destruction of red blood cells, leading to anemia. The lack of this antioxidant is also associated with age-related macular degeneration (which can cause blindness), diabetes, Parkinson's disease, the preeclampsia seen with pregnancy, and other problems.
Daily Requirement
The Food and Nutrition Board has not set an RDA or Adequate Intake (AI) for glutathione. |

Bee pollen is often referred to as "nature's most perfect food" because it is a complete protein (typically containing 10 to 35 percent total protein) in that it contains all eight essential amino acids. Bee pollen also provides B vitamins, vitamin C, carotenes, minerals, DNA and RNA, numerous flavonoid molecules, and plant hormones. Propolis and royal jelly have similar nutritional qualities as pollen but have considerably higher levels of different biologically active compounds. A S'/i-ounce (100 gram) serving provides 313 calories, 25 grams of carbohydrate, 25 grams of protein, and 12. |
Approximately 40 percent of the weight of dried brewer's yeast consists of protein that includes all the essential amino acids. Plus, like soybeans, brewer's yeast is rich in lysine, which makes both of these foods excellent supplements to cereals, whose proteins are generally low in lysine. A tablespoon of nutritional brewer's yeast can provide 8 grams of protein for a mere 58 calories. |
In some societies, cloudy-looking beers are a major contribution to daily nutritional needs, because the cloudy sediment is composed of yeast cells that contain essential B vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. In fact, during the Middle Ages, it was common practice to feed infants with the sediment from cloudy beer to keep them healthy.
But while yeast's beneficial effects on health were recognized early, the identification of the nutritional factors responsible did not take place until the early twentieth century, when B vitamins were discovered. |
Of all of the amino acids, lysine is the most sensitive to dry heat, and the amount of lysine in amaranth seed and other sources of this essential amino acid can be significantly reduced by popping. Sprouting, on the other hand, raises the level of some nutrients in amaranth seed, including lysine.
Amaranth flour contains no gluten and must therefore be combined with wheat when a rising loaf of bread is desired. Mix 25 percent amaranth flour with 75 percent wheat or other gluten-containing flour when making yeast breads. |
Since yeasts are typically grown on foods that lack certain nutrients, the yeasts must manufacture their own amino acids and vitamins, becoming, in the process, a much more complete food for any human who consumes them.
HISTORY
Saccharomyces cerevisiae has been an extremely useful yeast for humans for many millennia. Thousands of years ago, naturally occurring yeasts managed to land on some flour or drinks with results so pleasant that eventually people learned how to cultivate the yeasts and select the strains that would work best on various food sources common in their region. |

I refer especially to the exciting new research in "smart drugs"—vitamins, herbs, amino acids, and various chemical compounds which some researchers claim can increase memory and intelligence.
Stimulated by the right memes, human beings will emit intelligence-building neurochemicals even without the intervention of smart drugs. Through this self-reinforcing feedback loop, the brain guides its own physical evolution over time. Still there is nothing wrong with giving evolution a jump start now and then, and that is what smart drugs are all about. |
